We are looking to move this summer to a 4 bedroom rental home. Speaking to some friends down there one recommended Wesley Chapel, another LOL, I read many posts here that say Trinity. I am so confused. Here's my story, we are a family of 7: two in college, 1 in a vocational high school, 1 in middle school and one in grade school. 2 of the kids (HS & grade school) are dyslexic with other learning disabilities. Finding the right school, where ever we end up is very important to us. In my search for the right location I am having a hard time finding suitable schools for these two. I have been focusing on LOL but I am open to suggestions. We prefer to be no more than an hour from the beach. There must be plenty to do within driving distance including outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking etc. Medical care for children must be nearby as well due to a few health issues. And there MUST be baseball. All 4 of my boys play and my husband coaches.
Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated from some folks with the inside scoop. I truly appreciate it.
Also looking for a good real estate agent....

If you’re expecting schools for your learning disabled students as good or better than Massachusetts, don’t move, as you won’t find them here. As a former special education teacher, a parent of a child with disabilities, and a former (local) school administrator, the resources and services in Florida are horribly lacking.

If finding the right school is important, why on earth would you ever move to Florida? Florida has terrible schools, especially compared to Massachusetts.

Also, what MortonR said.

Florida and Schools aren't a good mix.
