Me? August 2009. Finishing 23 yr military nursing career. Leaving with a MSN and experience in a lot of settings - inpatient and outpatient, cardiology. Not sure if I want to work, but Manatee appears to be a nice hospital (my grandfather died there about 20 yrs ago of "old age"). Also interested in the new hospital on Big Bend Road being built. The VA near USF is another option, but will be a long commute if I live in Riverview, Ruskin. I'm interested in caring for the polytrauma patients returning from Iraq. I may be rusty with inpatient care as I've been in ambulatory care for nearly three years. I'm hoping that by the time I return to Tampa, I'll be hitting the real estate market during low prices.
