My husband has great potential for getting hired in Tampa Bay and we are looking for good neighborhoods to live in. He will be working in the city (and would like a reasonable commute), plus we have 2 children (ages 3 and 18 months). Looking for a nice community and homes in the range of $300,000 to $400,000 range. Additionally, we would love to hear what you feel Tampa has to offer for young children (museums, water parks, etc...).
Thanks in advance!

Look in Hyde Park, or on Davis Island. Little kids love the Tampa Aquarium (downtown) - it has a water play area perfect for pre-schoolers and babies.

Hello... Are you looking to move to a area close to downtown or something a little further out? Hyde Park and Davis Island would be convenient to downtown and may be a good choice. You also have some newer homes in the Westchase area and Brandon or Riverview. Carrollwood is a mature area with large trees and nice homes. If you are looking for more of a rural feel, then the Lutz, Land O Lakes or Wesley Chapel may be a good option with a little bit of a commute to downtown. Let us know what type of area you are looking for and community features that are important and we will be glad to give you advice and opinions to help you with your move.

Have a great day!

My niece and nephews love to go to Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, Adventure Island, Busch Gardens, Splitsville Bowling, Game Works in Ybor, ride the streetcar, Kids City near Lowry Park Zoo, Canoeing down the Hillsborough River, the beaches, Big Cat Rescue, Great Explorations in St. Pete, Museum of Science and Industry and IMAX..and also venture out to some of the parks in the area to play.
