St.Pete is changing, it's not the little city next to Tampa anymore. The downtown is really improving with alot of new construction going on. In due time, St.pete will be the place to be. The only thing is, can you afford to live here I think St.Pete in 5-10 years will be just like a smaller Miami, except we wont have the cubans, haitians, etc..

Default be careful....

the best things about st pete are the beaches and there is a lot to do for everyone. there is, however, a lot of crime there and i mean violent crime. be careful what area you choose to live. i've worked there for 20 years and used to live there too. it could be such a great city but i don't feel safe at all. on a related note, i saw on this site a stat that said there a 0 registered sex offenders for 2007 in st pete. please, they need to correct that. there are a ridiculous number of PAGES of offenders with very scary pictures. i'm glad i moved my children away.
