I've lived within 5 miles of there for the past 20+ years. Westwood Reserve is in a good area. The advice you received from others was probably referring to the area further south near Waters & Sheldon which has had problems in the past. And, if you're a shopper, you'll love living close to Citrus Park Drive. Welcome to the area!

It's a wonderful area....I live about two miles from there and have virtually no concerns about day to day safety or drug crime.
