When you load Google Earth check the roads and Google Earth Community and Travel & Tourism. Their are photo's and some great information. But still I wish Google would put a date stamp on the section your looking at. ..........

The only real problem with Google Earth is the way Eastern Tennessee is so out of focus due to the mountains. It seems the areas I would like to venture to are so blury you are not able to even see the lay of the land, streets names are still there but that is all. Another search tool out there like Google Earth is "Live Search" and while the mountains appear to affect the images, not as much; in my opinion gives a little better quality image. Anybody know of any others.

I agree with you but if you look at the bottom of the screen after you get 100% live stream you will see the altitude about sea level, then move your cursor it will change and if you check Google Community a "Blue I " icon and Tourist the little pink camera it will when clicked on give you a location- town - route or photo which you can copy and paste into your browser for even more information on that area......Yes I wish the resolution was better...........

Flash Earth is better. It gives you a lot more viewing options.
