I was out for a couple nights with friends trying to catch a little puppy they'd had escape from them. While out there - an area we didn't even know existed - we found a very old cemetary that dates back to the pre-1800s and an old meeting house that's been restored. We went behind the old meeting house and stumbled across a very old abandoned house and barn that had tons of abandoned cars, a motorcycle and an airplane hanging in the barn! It was pretty cool, but I kind of wonder if some of those vehicles are stolen.....

Took a bunch of photos of some of the really old headstones, the old meeting house and the abandoned house and barn and vehicles. We find things like that sooooo cool. Didn't know if anyone else did, but if so, figured I'd share!

Taking a bit. Hang on........

Ok, Photobucket is really angering me. I'll attach them here. You'll just have to click and open I guess. Ugh!

This one is obviously new. Must have family in the area that had the new headstone put in.

Bear with me. PB isn't my friend and my photos are too large for here so I'm having to re-size. Oi!

Those are pretty interesting pictures.

The plane looks like it had a bad landing (judging by the bent props). Less likely, it was blown over (ie tornado or strong sideways winds). It does look like someone had at some point intended to fix it.

Apparently the church was/is fairly important to the Restoration movement.

Very cool. I'd never bothered looking up any info on the area!

The abandoned house with those cars really has me intrigued. I so badly want to go back and run the VINs on those cars............
