Does anyone remember the Tennessee Trash commercials. Im wanting to think late 70's or 80's. They started the campaign to clean up TN roads. Then the Adopt a HWY program came along. I still see dump areas and agree TN needs to update their manned trash sites.

I do. I think that I probably saw the updated version of those PSAs, but I remember them clear as day.

"THERE AIN'T NO LOWER CLASS THAN TENNESSEE TRASH!"

Great stuff.

Yeah, I'm not sure I would agree either.

Where I've lived out west was generally much cleaner with much less litter than I see on the roadsides here. There seems to be, at least in my neck of middle TN to be more problems with people using the rural areas for dumps...

Tennessee has tried. Anyone here remember the old Tennessee Trash commercials? From the mid-70s I think. These are the two I remember...

"There ain't no lower class than Tennessee trash..." Amen to that.
