Tennessee Whiskey is known around the world for its superior, mellow flavor. And while distillery tours are just a sideline attraction of American tourism, other states have distillery "trails". So Tennessee has established its own "Whiskey Trail" to round out its vast and varied offerings to tourists. The state is already in the Top 15 of all states for tourism. So it's expected that the state known for its famous whiskey would have something like this. While a small segment of tourism in the USA, Tennessee's spirits industry is too famous not to have a promotion like this.

Tennessee officially has its own whiskey trail

"In Tennessee, it’s no secret the whiskey industry is having a moment. There are now 30-plus distilleries in the state after laws were relaxed in 2009, opening the door for craft spirit makers to launch across Tennessee. In 2015, whiskeys exported from Tennessee were valued at $691 million, ranking as one of the state’s top exports."... "The 25-stop distillery tour will show Tennesseans and visitors alike all the state has to offer, from blues music in Memphis and honky tonks in Nashville to the foothills in Chattanooga and the Great Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg. People can complete the tour on their own time and in any order they prefer. "

That's a good start. The only issue is that the only two distilleries I know on it are Jack Daniels and George Dickel. I went on the Jack Daniels tour years ago. It was a nice tour, although the distillery was hard to find and off the beaten path. Plus, since it is in a dry county you can't even have a sample, which was very disappointing. Almost defeats the purpose of going if you can't sample what they produce millions of barrels of.

Nelson’s Greenbriar and Corsair are good. Speakeasy is fairly new - drove by it the other day and will have to check it out.

Oh yah. I have heard of Corsair. They have many whiskeys that are distilled from unusual grains, I think, like quinoa. I had their triple smoke once. It was nice and unusual.
