Help w/ airline fares (credit, travel, work)

Hello trying to get the best rates on 2 round trip air tickets from west palm bch-fl to nashville tn depart05/05/08@7a/m +/- return 05/09/08 open =would prefermid morning I keep hearing of people getting reduced fare on line BUT im not too computer savvy=Could you good folks be of some direction thanks jerry m pt st lucie/fl

I've found typing in the airlines website gives you the best deals on flights & since your booking so far in advance you should get a good rate... For example try typing in Delta.com so it'll take you to their site & then it pretty much explains itself...

I've always used Priceline.com course you need to put WWW. in front of the name but that site lets you name the price and it bids it out to airlines and lets you know who accepted that bid.

My son and his family always get their flights from Hartford, CT to Atlanta through Priceline or the www and then, Cheapfares dot com. Always gets great rates.

But, the $79 fare is stupendous, but you do have to grab them right away. They could be gone in 15 minutes. The airlines do not put that many out there to begin with at the lower rates, so they do go fast.

SMG, we find that Southwest always has the best fares. I think they are partnering with Delta now, so if Southwest can't accomodate you, they pass you over to Delta for the same price. Have you experienced that going to TX? (That's where we have flown to under that situation. Works out great!)
