We are going to visit Cookeville this weekend. I think we are looking at the Baxter or Monterey area. I guess we will rent for a year until we find the perfect place, but going to visit schools while we are there. My plan is to be moved by our anniversary, which is June 25. I hope it's sooner than that. I told my husband, our kids won't think going for a bike ride is boring anymore when they see the country down there!! We vacationed in Gatlinburg last summer, and I almost wished I wasn't on my own bike just so I could look around!! I guess I'll have a chance to do that now~ Thanks for everyone's replies! I was hoping I wouldn't have to tie a rebel flag on my bike to fit in! I'm sure I'll still get strange looks being a woman on a bike, as I always do.

Nah you won't look silly - women on motorcycles are the FASTEST growing industry. Down here in FL we even have mc shops just for women!

My hubby and I are coming up in SEPT to rent for a few days out in Cumb Cove area and we plan to bring ours. Daytona had an all women ride last month for BIKE WEEK and there were over 500 women!! IT WAS GRAND!! (lead by Karen Davidson!...yes from the Davidson "family") It was organized to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association Summer Camps.
Here is the parade: PHOTO GALLERY: Largest Harley Women's Parade Ever: 500 women ride together in Daytona

There are even "women rider" conventions - was in Athens GA 2006 w/b in Denver 2009 BikeWeek.com Motorcycle News, Events and Photos

Yes I know some of this was BIKE WEEK but don't fret - there are a lot of women who want to ride and are learning! Our MSF classes are now 50%-70% women students wanting to learn what motorcycling is all about! FUN!!

One of our RiderCoaches belongs to an all gals riders group and when they ride their hubbies get to ride with but only in the back! The gals want to lead! HA! Love it.
