Heavy storm with possible tornadoes are entering the northern part of Middle Tennessee this afternoon. Right now they are primarily to the west and south of Nashville heading northeast. Tornado warning sirens have gone off in the Franklin/Brentwood area.

The worse of it will be over downtown Nashville just as "rush hour" gets underway between 4:00 and 5:00 pm.

Be careful out there folks! That wind can get really rough while you are driving depending on what type of vehicle you have. Also remember to give those semi's plenty of room to their left and right, the wind can push them over into your lane!
Hope everyone makes it home safe and remains that way while this mess passes over ya...then comes our way.

Did anyone have damage? Channel 5 was reporting a tornado touchdown in the Murfreesboro Rd area. Hope all are ok.

Quiet over here, so far. Looks like there was a tornado in Nashville.

Still quiet here. I'm concerned about the freeze due Monday night. Lots of trees are flowering.

Where is alleycat? I checked the Nashville board and they did not mention a tornado.

I'm right here! ;-)

There was flashing flooding on some low roadways yesterday in Nashville, lots of wind, a few traffic accidents, and possibly a tornado in the Donelson area. It was a messy and dangerous day, but we were lucky it wasn't worse than it was.
