In today's Tennessean:

Sad to say, but of the top 10 counties for meth lab busts in 2008, 9 were in East Tennessee.

  3. McMinn (55)
  4. Monroe (51)

  7. Shelby (32)
  8. Cumberland (26)

Funny, I didn't realize that they were gone enough to constitute a comeback. It seems as if we are always hearing about them. Why can't people just work hard, keep their noses clean and get high off of life? Rhetorical, don't answer. Wow, where did that comment come from this morning? Must get more coffee.

I hate to say it but this isn't something that you only see in Tennessee. This is really affecting rural Wisconsin. People live off welfare, have no jobs, and that causes them to participate in these illegal activities. SMG, I wish people could just live an honest life, too. Work hard, raise a family, own a home. The American dream, they don't want it I guess?

Of course most of them are rural, except Shelby (a given) and Chatty. WTH Cocke's not on there?

At least counties listed here are making drug busts...Many other counties have huge problems but if the police are not proactive, they wont be on this list....
