Moving to Tennessee soon... Help!!!
Me and my fiance are looking to move down to Tennesee in the next 2 or 3 months. We want to move down to the Sevierville area. Can anyone tell me a little bit about the surrounding area? Also I am in sales and she has an accounting background and we are both looking for good jobs. Any ideas there? And last but not least we have 2 boxers and were wondering how hard will it be to find housing down there with them.

Sevierville area our family has visited many, many times from Florida. We are actually thinking of relocating to the area as well. We have always felt welcome there by the people. It would be good to know about jobs in the area as well. Good luck with your move!!

?Have you checked the job listing web sites or the local papers online? I wouldn't move here without jobs lined up. Every complex is different on the restricted dog breeds and what ones are allowed.
Eyes on Tennessee: Living full time in Sevierville is drastically different from visiting as a tourist.

That area depends heavily on tourism, so many of the jobs are retail stores and food service. In all probability, you will have to drive to Knoxville, about 25 miles, for good jobs in sales and especially accounting. If you really want to live in Sevierville, look on the north side, nearest Knoxville for a shorter commute. If Knoxville is close enough to Sevierville for you, the east side of town has neighborhoods that are both beautiful and affordable. As for the dogs, you're just as likely to find a place that allows dogs in Knoxville as you are in Sevierville, unless you find a place out in the country.

Or just move to Knoxville. The prices are cheaper, the traffic is better and the pay is usually better.
The people are very, very nice over here and our scenery is wonderful, too.
I've lived in a couple of tourist areas. I prefer never to do that, again. Knoxville caters to real people that plan on staying awhile or already have.
