I found this video hilarious. Cybertruck vs Ford's $113k Raptor R. The Cybertruck just SMOKES it at the dragstrip, it's embarrassing. Then do make it interesting-they run the CT on DIRT next to the strip, vs the Raptor on pavement-and it still wins.
The reality is that EV's are much quicker in everyday driving compared to ICE vehicles because they have constant full power at all times whereas an ICE vehicle has to go through the process of air/fuel/combustion/turbo/shift to use its max power.
I ordered both the tri and dual motor Cybertruck but the specs they show now make the tri motor not worth it IMO but the dual motor Cybertruck will still be faster than the Raptor R for the first 3 seconds of acceleration and after that, you should only be doing on a drag strip or race track.
My brother in law has the Raptor R and I do really like it a lot but the steer by wire and 4 wheel steering give the Cybertruck a big advantage for driving in traffic and parking lots (Cybertruck is also much cheaper)
