American English Dialects This was posted on another board and reminded me of all the Accent and geography debates we have on this board. It's intereactive and you can even click on cities and it will take you to youtube videos of people speaking regional dialects.

It is indeed very cool! I could quibble with the Texas part of it, but I'm sure the residents of any particular area could. (Fort Worth/Dallas "Lowland South"?!)

There should be a link to the bar where a couple of beers makes me talk like an east Texas hick with a west Texas drawl.
