Does anyone know haw bad the crime is in certain areas of Gladewater?
About a mile from the PD close to US80?

I'm not an expert on the town, but I know it has some really nice areas mostly close to the lake and some pretty ghetto ones. My cousin lived close to 80 and 271 for a while and it wasn't a really great neighborhood. I think his lawnmower was stolen from there. Research the area before moving.

You can learn all about Gladewater here, including crime rate, poverty, etc. http://www.city-data.com/city/Gladewater-Texas.html The Crime rate is surprisingly high for a small town, but so is the poverty level.
