Where in the great US-of-A would you most likely decide to live if for some reason you were no longer able to reside here? Do you have another dream state? Would you be with family?

The poll only includes regions, but be specific with cities and states. Obviously, most transplants would decide to return home, so I guess I'm more interested in where native Texans would most like to be.

I'm a native Texan. I'm tempted to say I would move to Missouri since I have a lot family up there, however, I like southern warm climates and Missouri gets a tad too cold for me in the winters. As a result, I would probably move to Florida. There's plenty of sushine, I love the ocean, and Florida has some of the best beaches in the country.

Ya, realistically, if we moved any where as a family it would be Florida. We're actually consider buying a rent house near Orlando in the coming months. I just said Alaska because things would have to be pretty bad to force us to leave Texas and I picked the most toughest place to live. If it's hard for us, it's hard for everyone else.

If I couldn't go to Florida one of those two states would be my second choice. I've been to New Mexico many times over the years and I've been to Arizona a few times as well. I like both of those states and could easily see myself living in either one of them.

Now for you people choosing New Mexico and Arizona, do you have a specific region? I only ask because both those states have diverse regions, some very much like West Texas while others rolling hills and mountains.
