Merry Christmas fellow Texans!

Each year I start some Christmas related poll, and this year I decided to do it on Movies/TV/Productions related to the holiday. Heck, I admit after these years I am starting to run out of ideas, so I am HOPING this one hasn't been done before!

*AHEM* So question is (Little Drummer Boy roll here for dramatic effect...):

What is your FAVORITE Christmas production of all time? One you watch yourself year after year/enjoy with your kids/grandkids/etc?

Obviously, I can't list ALL the major ones, so I have tried to do my best with jotting down those I think might be most recognizable. But of course, including the "OTHER" catagory as well. And of course, please share your thoughts and such on all of it.

I struggled a bit with whether or not to make this a "single" or "multiple" choice poll. I finally went with the latter because....wellllll...just because I did!

Merry Christmas to All!

A Christmas Story! I have it on DVD just in case I happen to miss it on TV. I love that movie and never tire of watching it. "You'll shoot your eye out, kid". LOL

So many unforgettable scenes, such as the one where the kid got his tongue stuck to the flagpole, the god awful lamp, the pink bunny pj's, the dogs ruining the turkey resulting in the meal at the Chinese restaurant. IMO just a great movie!

Many of these were a part of my childhood Christmases, but I'd say that the Grinch is really the only one that I carried over into adulthood. It really puts me in that whole corny Christmas mood.

Well how come you didn't vote for the Christmas Story then? I voted for it but apparently was the only one that has thus far.

LOL Wellll, buzzpost? To be honest, when I FIRST watched that movie and for several times again, I thought it one of the BEST and FUNNIEST I ever saw. It was GREAT!

However, it got to be played SO often and repetitively, it lost its appeal. Kinda like It's a Wonderful Life. I LOVE it...but only so many times can it be played without just flat "getting old." And I really HATE to say such...given what classics they are in their own right...

I voted for A Christmas Carol (the 80's version with George C. Scott), The Grinch That Stole Christmas (I agree with you, Nairobi!), and Charlie Brown Christmas!

How funny! Actually, I did vote for it and did so before I made my comments. I guess I should have checked the view results at that time, but didn't. Don't ask me what happened.
