19 of the top 25 threads right now in the Texas forum concern Amarillo. That's quite a bit. Perhaps it's time to have an Amarillo sub-forum?

That sounds like a great idea to me, but I may be largely responsible for a lot of those threads. I joined yesterday and went nuts posting and replying to everything Amarillo!

I am still trying to get the hang of how everything works. But, if you know how to make Amarillo a sub group, let's do it! Our metro area is 250K, and we're still growing, so that should at least put us on the map.

Yep....when new members go through old threads and answer/comment on the posts, it will naturally pull them back up, no matter how old they are.

Only the moderators can create subforums...maybe a West Texas/Panhandle forum that would take care of Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, et al. There was some argument as to whether Amarillo is Panhandle or West Texas in one of the older threads. I've always considered it the Panhandle, though culturally, it's West Texas.

Creating new subforums is Adminstrator's call and he usually wants to see hundreds of threads and posts on a place before he'll give it a subforum. I'd be surprised if Amarillo has hundreds of threads yet.
