My windshield on my car is cracked and has been for a long time. I finally have the money to fix the windshield, but wanted to know if I could salvage the inspection and registration stickers, or do I have to get new ones?

Someone who's replaced a lot of windshield will be pretty good at scraping off the stickers and gluing them onto the new windshield. But they do have replacement stickers. At least the place I've been to a couple of times had a bunch of stickers to replace ones that got damaged. Just tell them you want a new windshield, and let the replacement technician take care of it; it's a normal part of the business.

We've had to replace several windshields due to rock chips, and the installers have always been able to move the stickers from the old one to the new one with no problems!

This,

We've had a lot of windshields replaced over the years and the installers are generally good about removing and reinstalling the old stickers. Now sometimes a sticker want cooperate but you can get a replace not registration sticke for around $5-10 but not sur aou inspection stickers...may have to pay full price which such since the area has Emession testing aka $40 inspection.

The inspection stickers were never a problem with a careful installer. The hardest ones, surprisingly, were our military stickers for the JRB!!
