how often are tornadoes in late may/june in areas from San Antonio to DFW?

Texas tornadoes per 2,500 square miles

Depending on which part of DFW you're looking at, maybe 3 per year...

Storms coming through DFW right now has produced 2 tornadoes already with more tornado watches in effect, with evacuations and injuries from the one in Granbury with numerous homes suffering damages.

Well, sadly, last night was an introduction as to what it can be like during tornado season. Prayers to all in the Granbury area.
