I am currently in Lewisville but have a job opportunity in San Antonio. I hate Lewisville, I have been here for 8 months. Prior to that I was in Austin for 2 years and LOVED IT. Miss Austin. Anyway I have been to San Antonio onc, went to the Riverwalk, it was OK. Should I move?

You're comparing a suburb to a city. Did you consider moving into one of the more urban neighborhoods in DFW?

Looking for a 2 BR 2BA apt or townhome with a garage and don't want to spend more than 1200-1300.

Its possible for a townhome. What will you be doing here for work? I was born in lewisville and lived there until i was 20. I have been in San Antonio for 5 years now.

I think you just answered your own question. Seriously, though, come back for a visit, and explore the outlying neighborhoods more. The Riverwalk is OK, but I haven't been there in a LONG time, only when I have a visitor from out of town. Based on your budget, the north side of town is where you will want to be.
