I went to high school in Livingston. Lived there from the 4th grade til I graduated high school. I went back, only once, in 2008 for 2 weeks visiting some old friends there.

Thinking about moving back in March & was wondering if there were any good jobs? I can do anything.

Well, I hope you're patient. Livingston is still relatively small, and their job market is likely just some local businesses. What can bring a little hope to the area is the future Interstate 69, which will supplant U.S. 59 in just a few years, so that can strengthen the economic push.

Can you try to specify what it is you're looking for?

Case, I might add that Livingston will end up being at an Interstate crossroad with US 190 becoming I-14.

Interstate 14 on its way across Texas - Houston Chronicle

My wife works at Livingston Memorial Hospital which last year became part of the St Luke's system (Parent hospital St. Lukes, Med Center, Houston) as did Lufkin Memorial. The hospital is a Level 4 with some surgical services. Not much industry in Livingston although the vitality of the town seems quite robust. A lot of money is pumped into the town via Lake Livingston and its proximity to Houston (and Houston money).

I live 35 miles east of town and other than my wife working there we do little trade there. I did buy my last 2 tractors there though. I like Livingston pretty well.
