Go to CreditKarma.com and have a look at your credit. SOMEtimes you'll have a score without knowing. If not, you're going to need a lender that does what is called "manual underwriting" - meaning, they do the loan process the old way, not via your credit score, just like they used to years ago. That's most likely going to be through an independent, local bank - NOT one of the big nationals. Can't begin to tell you where to look, since I have no idea where you're located - but they're out there. Talk to your Realtor - if they give you a blank look or say "no one does that", find another Realtor, because they SHOULD know who does them.

I am also looking for a new home in Dallas area. My budget is 375K. School district and closeness to the airport is very important to me. If you come across something in that range let me know. I feel like dallas market is too hot right now and homes are flying off like hot cakes so prices are increasing.

Zillow is a good starting place for a home. They have professional school ratings as well as location and estimated values. You can search by local names or even draw a border.
