Interesting that Houston and San Antonio are tied. Should I have included El Paso as well?

It'd probably help if people knew what a Texas Showdown was.

Maybe the OP meant a cowboy gunfight reenactment that some places put on for tourists or local western celebrations?

Round Rock used to have one of the infamous 1878 Sam Bass gang gun fight with the Texas Rangers for it's Pioneer Days celebration.

On April 21st reenactors do a Battle of San Jacinto reenactment at the State Park of the same name east of Houston.

Or the OP could just visit Chicago's South Side for some real shoot'emups on any weekend, with summer times especially prolific.

I’d say the answer is Houston followed by all other cities well behind.
