Rangers.

I rep everything DFW.

I've always preferred the Astros colors and logo though.

I always wondered who the rest of the state roots for in terms of proffesional sports, I always assumed which does better, which recently happens to be the DFW sports teams.
in terms of past season
Basketball: Mavs/Spurs>Rockets
Baseball(as of current):Rangers>Astros
Football: Cowboys>Texans

Anyways Astros all day, every day, even when they suck.

Neither for me. Baseball is way too boring to watch.

My favorite local baseball team is minor league, the Fort Worth Cats. My favorite MLB teams aren't in Texas.

^ Commoncensus admits the map is highly inaccurate.

Maybe not the best reference material.

Doesn't really matter, since the Ranger's success this season probably turned a lot of baseball fans into Rangers fans, even if they used to be Astros fans(in that map).

As far as the teams' successes, it always goes in cycles. The Astros had a great run in the mid-2000s and at the end of 1990s. During that time, the Rangers were up and down and managed their only three division titles late last decade. But Houston is still the better franchise that's experienced more success, not to mention one World Series appearance (2005).

By the way, Allen, you should have titled this thread, "Favorite Texas MLB Team". I'm saying this now because if this gets moved to the Baseball forums under Sports, then that's why.
