Two things wrong with this post.

First, are you not counting north Texas or something?

There are more than 5 or 6 Buc Ee’s in Houston alone as well as Dallas. So that’s wrong.

Not only that but HEB is barely establishing a presence in DFW. It’s crazy to say every town in Texas has one.

It’s Whataburger for me. I grew up with Whataburger and not an HEB. Every once in awhile I need a #5 - Bacon and cheese Whataburger. It hits the spot every time.

Buc - ees is the place I take out of state visitors for Texas souvenirs so it should be my answer to this poll, but I voted Whataburger.

LOL not Tyler, Texas - we don't have an HEB! We do have Whataburgers though, which I don't even like much, so I didn't vote for WB.

I would be fine if I never have a Whataburger again. But H-E-B is quality and affordability, plus they donate all over the place. So H-E-B for the win.

Seven Eleven 7/11 if they had not sold out to the Japanese years ago.

Is an out of state PE firm acquisition what it took for Texans to realize Whataburger is mid?? lol. H-E-B is just running away with it and they aren't even all over Texas quite yet

1. Whataburger 2. Bucees 3. HEB

I like them all ok but this is my ranking. All are very overrated. Whataburger actually deserves the hype at some point but it is certainly not quite as good as it used to be. Still like it and eat all the time. Bucees I don’t go a ton but it is a cool place. The restrooms are clean, bbq sandwiches good, and they have lots of options. Can’t hate on it. It probably is a bit overpriced as mentioned before. HEB, last, is good but again overrated I don’t think it is as great as everybody thinks. I wish there was more competition outside of Dallas. I don’t like how HEB is basically the only option. I like Lowe’s grocery stores. Regardless, I am fine with all of these places, but they could be better.

Houston's grocery scene is definitely more competitive than Dallas
