THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Austin is better for young people. It is a college town. San Antonio is a huge city with a million plus people. More diversity in San Antonio plus it's more tourist-orientated. So I would say Austin if you are a young professional and single.

San Antonio is the least diverse of the Texas' metros. It's behind Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin. And you make it sound as if Austin is some little town in relation to San Antonio. The metro populations are different by about 300k-400k and getting closer every year.
