Default Young movers seeking advice

My fiance and I are looking to move to TX. We have chosen the DFW area to settle down. Im 23 and she is 21, and this will be our big move out of southern california. We were looking at other states, but DFW seems to have everything we are looking for.

For those who have made such a big move, what advice can you pass along so our move can be successful? We are taking into account our bills and the importance of having jobs, but being young we are willing to do just about anything. We are ready to pull the trigger, we look forward to the words of wisdom. Thanks!

Do you know where you will be working/going to school? The D/FW metro is bigger than the state of New Jersey. If you're not sure, you may consider something centrally located (Arlington, Irving, etc.). Is public transportation going to be an issue? If so, Dallas proper will be a better fit. Best of luck.
