Seems to be gaps in coverage over Missouri and also Louisiana/east Texas.

Reed Timmer thinks the shape of the Gulf coast causes storms to be more disorganized over Louisiana during potential outbreaks.

Two confirmed EF-1 tornadoes north of Alexandria from an overnight storm complex early Thursday morning. Also a microburst with winds of 110 mph!

Saw the damage yesterday. A few pics I took.



Tree sliced through a house which fortunately was vacant.

A tornado hit South Bend, Indiana yesterday evening. It's amazing the amount of close up video people captured. Knocked down a lot of trees, damaged some apartments, and all but destroyed a daycare. The first clip you can see the power flashes and lights going on and off in the CVS. No word from the NWS yet on strength of the storm. It didn't seem to be on the ground very long.
