Visitor Parking (to buy, authority, license plates)

Hello,

I plan on driving up to Toronto for a few days and I want to leave my car parked somewhere and use public transportation. Where is a cheap place for me to leave my car parked for 3-4 days that is close to public transportation to the city core? I have U.S. license plates.

In what area are you staying? That would determine what type of parking would be available to you. For instance, if you are staying with friends, you may be able to buy a 1-week parking permit from the city to park in that neighbourhood, but again, that depends on the area.
