I see the folks across the GTA are experiencing one of the worst floods in recent memory. Rainfall amounts of up to 200mm. reported (approx. 6.5"). Anyone who lives there, feel free to give an account of what you've witnessed. Looks as though more storms are in the forecast for the rest of the week.

From yesterday's storm: "126mm of rain was reported at Toronto's Pearson International Airport, beating the previous daily rainfall record of 121.4mm set back in 1954, when Hurricane Hazel hit."

More heavy rain possible today

My apologies on my faulty metric conversion I got off of google.. That should have been closer to 7.8" for 200mm. Officially though, what fell at Pearson is the highest rainfall in the area which is interesting in how much flooding that was produced.
