Which would you recommend? I'll be visiting Toronto on a budget (sight seeing & visiting with friends) and my options include include lower cost Liberty Village or more central Queen/King/Spadina. Is there a supermarket near the latter? I've been away for too many years and know there is a supermarket at Queen/Gladstone but I no longer know the redeveloped areas closer to downtown. We'll get a weekly TTC pass in either case. I understand the Queen car is slow and crowded.

Of course the latter. There is no reason to stay at Liberty village where there is absolutely nothing but apartments. Even boring cityplace is better (at least with better location).
