New transplant from US. Working in downtown near Union but looking to live in Burlington as GO is easy and the drive to US border is decent. Budget max is 2k per month. No kids. Looking for 1-2 bedrooms.

Moving to furnished corp housing in Burlington soon. Love to take walks and found my previous favorite apartment that way.

Any suggestions where to look, what kind of rental to get, what streets to take a walk in? Thanks!

The "moving to furnished corp housing in Burlington" sentence is confusing, kinda implying you have a place.

Tons of highrise apts/condos in the downtown core near Spencer Smith Park and the lake.

Walk along the lakeshore from Spencer Smith Park to the Piers at the lift bridge, always nice,
and busy on weekends.

Kern Cliff Park up on the escarpment in Tyandaga area of Burlington is my fave.
Bruce Trail goes thru it.

Bruce Trail in Hamilton is great too, lots of watefalls, like Tiffany Falls and Sherman Falls.

Spencers Gorge in Dundas area, again impressive waterfalls, deep gorge, nice views from lookout too.

Sorry for confusion. I have a temp furnished place. Looking for longer term unfurnished rental.

Want to walk around and get ground level opinion of good areas/buildings to figure out where to live. I will definitely check out your suggestions, but first need to find a place.

Any advice appreciated!
