Lexus GS: Should I use the snow button?

This might be a stupid question. Because of the past winter storm, there is some snow and ice on the roads. Do you use the snow button in this condition? Or do you use it only when it is actually snowing? I heard this car sucks in the snow so I have not driven it yet but I'm thinking about driving it today.

What are the Owner's Manual recommendations/instructions for when the system is to be used?


My F150 has a Tow/Haul mode that is to be used when towing or hauling but not otherwise.

Hi the snow button is for getting out of a snowpacked parking spot or standing still. It starts you off in a higher gear to help get you going. I'm assuming you're in a AWD one?
