Hi all,

I'm looking at 2014 Camry's on Autotrader and I see several cars, same color and model (LE) with different mileage but similar pricing (15k range).
Isn't a no brainer and go for the car with the lowest mileage for the same price range?

Everyone is going to try to sell according to what they think they will get for the car. Lowest price doesn't always mean the best. I usually always go with the lowest mileage unless the lower mileage one looks like it wasn't taken care of.

Not too much risk either way on a 2014 with some factory warranty left. But I would choose a higher mileage if that one came with complete maintenance records and a lower mileage one did not. Also a consideration if those are highway commuting miles and the lower mileage one was used in the city/shorter trips.

This would be from a dealer. How can I get any history from the car if it's from a dealership?

If serviced at a dealer or the owner logged it you should be able to pull up service history at toyota.com/owners or have the dealer's service dept do it for you. Also may show on the carfax. And of course just rummage through the glove box to see if there's any paperwork there.

Actually Carfax doesn't show all service history. My wife's 2013 showed no history on Carfax. Once I bought it and registered it on the Toyotas Owners page, all the service history showed up.

That's...why I said "may". I don't think there's anything that stops you from registering it on Toyota owners site even if you haven't bought it yet.
