The entry level conv. will be the IS250C with the entry price around $30K. It will make it's debut at NAIAS in Jan.

I think you got your numbers mixed up - the article stated a hatch may be offered below $30k. The convertible is expected to be around $36k, buts still just rumor, like the coupe.

Unfortunately, Brikag, if it is a Retractable Hardtop, as with all Retractable Hardtops except mine . . . there will be little or no trunk space with the top down.

Definitely a bummer for even short weekend trips.

If it's just two, then there's the back seat as well. But I do see your point b/c of the inconveinence of trunk space.

Very strong resemblance to the Solara which has always had great, timeless styling, however, still no trunk space with the top down. Your "Plan B" of using the back seat area creates problems even for the shortest of stops while on the road.

Are you ordering one?

When the "Rescue" plan is passed, my partner is getting in line for the Jeep Wrangler EV and I'm thinking either the VW Jetta TDI or this beautiful convertible. May be I should wait for the larger engine.
