Need to expand my horizons and get out of the RAINY PNW in March and April.
I usually fly/drive via SWA ~ $30 / day including lodging, car rental. and food. Gas and airfare (~$100) in addition.
I think it is too early for UT parks
Considering yet another trip to TX Hill Country for Wildflowers. Have done eac several times; SF / Sacramento, San Diego, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, AZ, NM, NV, and DC Cherry Blossom fest, & FL
I don't do humidity.
International destinations welcome too. Just keep me out of the RAIN
April would be beautiful in Zion NP. You could expect some snow up in Bryce Canyon, but I was there in early March when it was blanketed with snow and it made the hoodoo scenery that much more spectacular.

Big Bend in Texas - Warm but not unbearable in April and the crowds are minimal.
Yes, it is. Zion is beautiful in the snow but it is a shame to go when the best trails are too icy to hike. Saguaro NP and Tucson would be a good choice.
