actually our younger daughter and her husband did just that but only for 8 days, it was very pricey and they were not all that impressed. It was too bad, they live in Florida, used to live in St Thomas, and are sunshine lovers. I don't know what it was, but something just didn't really work out for them. Let's put it this way, they had a good time, but they wouldn't repeat. I know one think was the shower situation, they ended up so frustrated they spent one night at a hotel on some really small island just to feel really clean. Plus the food wasn't all that great. The company they used claimed the crew were excellent cooks as well as great sailors. The sailor part was true, our son in is a great cook and he ended up doing a lot of the cooking himself. Unfortunately they could not always get fresh foods because they were in and around very small islands.

Me: New England!!! Love the scenery, big & small cities, little country stores, waterfalls, food, autumn leaf colors, fabulous coastline, etc)

Back to New York City. I spent 10 days there in '08 and saw/did only a fraction of what I wanted to. 3 weeks would be perfect. I would even take side trips, like a New England drive, maybe even Boston.

This is probably really nuts, but I would really love to go to Antarctica. It would be fun to tag along with a group, see penguins in the wild, and check out what the scientists/geologists do down there. I have a friend who is interviewing for a job there, and I kind of hope she gets it. My life's goal is to set foot on every continent, including Antarctica. It would probably be my most cost-prohibitive trip, so it would be the one I want done for free.
