Whenever I have a dream to visit somewhere, I just make it happen. Usually within 8 months so I don't have a realistic answer to this question.

but to just lounge around and do much of nothing. Hmmm. Maybe Bocas Del Toro, Panama or wandering around Himachal Pradesh, India between Tibetan refuge areas.

Rome and Tuscany!!!!

Amazing food, incredible art, wonderful scenery (Tuscany), and can be done with a reasonable budget.

My wife and I disagree on this. I say New Zealand, she says Martinique.

This makes me wonder, where do people from New Zealand want to go for vacation?

Lol, I met a lot of New Zealanders (Kiwis, I think they're called) when I was traveling in Argentina. Maybe that's where they go!

I'm so excited, I JUST booked my flight for Little Corn Island, Nicaragua for November. I read about this place in Budget Travel magazine years ago & have been wanting to go ever since. This week I finally said screw it, I'm going, even by myself. So, I did it. Can't wait.

Japan

Unique experience, festivals, the cherry blossom festival (man I want to see that)

The bomb site of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (to pay my respects)

The food, THE FOOD!

Entertainment, the people, language, culture, the city itself.

I want to see the face of Japan, then I want to see it's heart.

My dream two-week vacation would probably be a week in Ireland followed by a week in England. The runner-up would be two weeks split between Cuzco, Peru (Machu Picchu) and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I spent a week in Dublin, Ireland in 2008 and absolutely loved it. I've wanted to return ever since.
