Hi. I'm taking the family to Cancun this Christmas vacation. I have reserved an all inclusive vacation at Beach Palace, and I plan on bringing them to the other Palace Resorts in the area for day trips. Has anyone else done this? Is Beach Palace the best place for our "home base"? I know that Moon Palace is much bigger and have read that it has a better kids camp, but the beach at Moon Palace isn't nearly as nice as Beach Palace. Also, I think if I want to play golf, I have to go to the one in Riviera Maya (forget the name of that location). Has anyone here done this? I could use some tips.

I am also sifting through the 3000 reviews on trip adviser, but I figured I would check in here as well.

I wish I could answer your questions based on personal experience, but I can't. I will tell you Palace Resorts are very nice: I doubt you will be disappointed and I do have one friend that did use facilities at more than one of their resorts. I am thinking my daughter might have gone to Palace a few years ago. I will talk to her this Sunday and get back to you. I will ask her about the golf as well. Her husband goes nowhere without his golf clubs, I think it takes them to bed, more than he takes her.

That would be great! Thanks! Would you also mind asking if they have decent rentals, or do I have to bring my own clubs?
