Washington DC. It's steeped in history, it's near the Appalachian mountains as well as the Chesapeake, most of its museums are free, and it's easy to get around. (But I'd never want to live there...)

Honolulu, I haven't even been their yet...Dallas...thats a joke, we don't have any tourist attraction worth traveling half way across the nation for, now if you have to come here or have family...there is some cool stuff to see, but nothing to go 'OMG' about like cool landmarks or a nice theme park...we have the state fair and Six Flag over Texas...really only regional attractions.

I have never not enjoyed a trip to NYC. So, I guess that is my favorite.

For big trips, I like to go out of country.

But I'm going to vote LA, because for short trips, I love to shop and enjoy the beach at Huntington.

I said Vegas. I'm from NYC, so it's not really a vacation, per say, to me.
Orlando's fun, but I live near Orlando now, we're there a few times a year.
I chose Vegas. I loved both times I was there.

New York City, without a doubt. It's a wonderful place full of interesting architecture and has just a generally great atmosphere.
