Singapore chicken rice, Bolgogi, Cabrito were all good.

Fugu (Japanese blow fish) was not.

South Florida - Cuban food. Morros y Christianos, fried plantains, arroz con pollo, ropa vieja, flan

PNW - Asian food and grilled salmon

Yucatan - Mayan food - tamales, cochinita pibil, fresh corn tortillas, guacamole and chocolate dishes.

And yes, those wonderful NE runzas. Not the restaurant kind but the made-in-grandma's-kitchen kind!

Visit Northern MN for the best walleye you've ever eaten.

Since first visiting the US in 2006, I've 'discovered' and liked pulled pork, bbq sauces, andouille sausages, alligator sausages, and biscuits and gravy.

The best, new to me, drink that I've come across was pomegranate cider.

Food and drink I've disliked are grits and juniper ale.

The one thing I still have to experience in the US is an outdoor barbeque.

At the Texas State Fair I tried deep-fried cheesecake. That was interesting!

I think this was called Sweet Potato Tornado. Once was enough.

And I thought no one could ever top the sheer gut-bombing perfection of a carnival funnel cake!
