Perhaps I'm in a grumpy mood because I've been travelling/waiting around various airports for the past 7 hours----but it seems to me that people unnecessarily hog the airport charging stations.
Because all the charging stations are full, and all the seats next to a wall plug are taken, I've been standing here next to a wall plug for quite a while and can't believe in all this time that no one's device has become fully charged.
Sitting on the floor at this point. I know---first world problem---but it's been a long day and would be nice to have my Kindle book available to read on my last leg home

and bring a few plug adapters (if in a foreign country) you can get very small 4x power strips with multi port (various plugs)+ USB's 4+
Often you have to 'buddy up' on airport outlets...and layovers are SHORT!
Thus the portable Power Source (remote battery charger) is often necessary for personal devices. ~ $30
or... fly a class of service that has power outlets ! (Economy works on most international flights with fairly modern planes.)
I own a Samsung Chromebook that has an 11 hour battery life on average when I am using it. My Android phone has a 4-5 hour battery life.
Last month, my phone went dead and I did not have access to a car charger. I went into my trunk, pulled out the Chromebook and plugged my phone into it. My phone was completely charged in about an hour with no drain on the Chromebook battery even though the Chromebook was NOT plugged in.

That's good to know. I would have thought that the Chromebook would have had to be plugged in.

Then you have created a free energy machine and the world is about to change.
It drained the battery on the Chromebook. Perhaps not enough for you to notice, but it drained it.
I always travel with a 3-1 plug, an extension cord, and a 2 port USB charger. I also have a lithium battery pack.
