Is there any airline that provides three free regular meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) to Economy Class passengers?

In my experience, airlines start to serve free meal to Economy Class passengers if the flying time is over 5 hours, i.e. Boston to Reykjavik (some don't like Icelandic Air), and it starts to serve two regular meals if the flying time is 7 hours or more, i.e. Tokyo to Honolulu.

However, in the extreme long haul flight, i.e. JFK=>HKG or EWR=>SIN that takes 15 hours or more, the airline still just serves two regular meals only.

And in Europe, all those inter-country flights don't serve free meals. And of course the airlines also don't serve free meals between US and Canada.

In Asia where competition is more keen, regular meal is served on most short haul flights even though the flight time is a little bit more than one hour, i.e. HKG=>TPE.

So has anyone been served three regular meals on any long haul international flight? I have been on one flight that was served 2 regular meals + 1 snack.

I have had the 3 meals several times. It depends more on the time the flight leaves and arrives on what meals you get in my experience. Got them going to Europe from the MSP but only ever 2 on the way back.

I agree.

But I'm not so sure that getting extra meals on planes is a GOOD thing.

Emirates seems to provide decent meals in economy, but I have never had, nor desired 3 meals during a single flight. I do the 17 - 18hr flights (the longest commercial flights available in world).

3 economy meals just might kill you!~ (Or you will wish it had)

Why would you want 3 meals? If you think you will be hungry, buy some food at the airport, once you are past security & take it on board. I think we got 2 meals last time we flew to Europe, it was enough.

Air India DEL to JFK (Delhi to New York). Its a 15 hour flight. Food is served 3 times besides complimentary alcohol to economy class passengers and 46 kilos free baggage.

2 Full meals and the third one is breakfast which is more likely Sandwich / Croissant types.

Same case with DEL - SFO

United Airlines flying on this route DEL - EWR (as per my experience) was absolutely pathetic. They gave one meal and gave a paper packet with a croissant saying that it is for later. Thats it !!!

Economy only here.

Best airline meals ever: Korea Air, LAX to Bangkok. Made me a bimbimbap lover forever. I carried a few of the little hot sauce packets home with me. In fact, these were the best flights we've ever taken.

Acceptable: Every meal I can remember having on Emirates and Delta (breakfasts on both are hit and miss).

Regardless, no matter where we fly, there's a stop to get sandwiches the night before or on our way to a flight. I'm NOT paying airport prices.
