Hmm.. how much does it cost to have a cb? does it have to be installed? that sounds like a fun idea. (since I can't get onstar!!)
did you ever see the movie "JoyRide"? I hope I don't run into "Rusty Nail"!! ha! ha!!

Sportsfangal, you don't have to get really exotic with a CB installation. About $60-$70 should get you a basic radio, magnetic mount antenna and a power cord you can plug into your cigarette lighter. Check at truck stops or even Walmart for good deals. You can just put the radio on your seat or dashboard without permanently installing it. (That's a good idea because you can hide it when you stop for the night)

Haven't seen "Joyride"... (Maybe I should)
