My husband and I have lived here off and on the past five years and love it but we haven’t been able to find really great options for organic local produce from local farms through fall and winter like we did back in Western Washington. When I’ve asked friends and neighbors they either laugh at us because “food doesn’t grow in winter,” or they suggest Yokes or Fred Meyers- which is what we’ve been doing, but isn't a solution. There has to be at least one farm somewhere nearby that grows fall/winter produce. All the farmer markets I’ve located so far are closed until Spring- the same for the local CSAs I could find. I don’t have the space to grow our own goodies - any suggestions?
Thanks!

There is that local shop behind Costco, corner of Quinault and Grandridge. I am fairly sure they are open all year long. Can't remember what they are called. They sell all local stuff and we love their apples.
