For the 2nd straight year, Waterfollies, the Tri-Cities July hydro/air show has been cancelled.

Hmm. The reasoning is interesting. They say the event is too big according to current restrictions. This is true. However, they could do a smaller event. But they can't because they depend on a large crowd to make it financially feasible. “Bottom line” here is what kills it, not any real health concern.

Well, certainly, if an annual event normally makes money, but under the current restrictions your green eye shade guy (or gal) says there is no way we will make any money under these circumstances, well, what would any reasonable manager do?

Oktoberfest was canceled for a similar reason and it's still months away. Most likely the uncertainty.

Waterfollies apparently back on. The event is now back on, but will be modified.
