[quote=jerseygal4u;29938029]Where did she say she promised him sex?
Maybe he paid her for conversation only, but wanted sex as part of the deal? /quote]
Another myth, that lonely men hire escorts just to "talk."
He should have done his research with the big head.
This is a common scam for dial-a-hookers, where they show up and take the money and run. The "driver" is ready to beat and maybe even kill the hapless chump if he resists, though his mere presence is usually enough. Dangerous work but as you can see, it can very lucrative for almost no work.
Sorry, no sympathy here. It was a business transaction, and the woman defaulted the "contract", which was, "sex for cash", if she wanted to terminate the contract, her obligation was to return the money. She was a thief.
She had a choice.
I wonder how often this woman had done the same scam, knowing most men would not report the theft for an illegal transaction. She scammed the wrong man this time.
Are you saying it is OK to shoot a person if they renege on a contract? The streets would be flowing with blood if this was the case.

I find it appalling that anyone (I'm thinking of the jury) could remotely conceive of the notion that in a such a situation, you are entitled to kill someone.
Now, if I had been on the jury and he had given her a black eye, I probably would have trouble convicting him of assault in that situation. If he had simply used physical force to take the money back from her, I know I wouldn't have convicted him of anything.
No. I said,"she is a thief". Breaking a contract is fine. Taking the money, and leaving was the problem.

Physical force and assault would be unwarranted.
